  1. How do I earn PlusPoints Rewards?

    You can earn 1 PlusPoint for every Rs.100/- spent on the Axis Bank Credit Card in India and 2 PlusPoints for every Rs. 100/- spent internationally on your Axis Bank Credit Cards.

    For e.g.: If you spend Rs. 10,000 in India you will earn 100 PlusPoints and if Rs.10, 000/- is spent internationally, you will earn 200 PlusPoints.

    The number of points accumulated by you will be reflected in your monthly Card Statement. The PlusPoints will get rounded down to the nearest hundred.

    For e.g.: If you spend Rs.1575/- on a particular transaction, the PlusPoints earned will be 15.

    In addition to the above, as a Platinum Cardholder, you will further earn 2 PlusPoints for every Rs. 100 spent above Rs. 100,000 in a calendar year.

    Note: The benefit of 2 PlusPoints would start accruing from the transaction after which the Rs 100,000 of spends is crossed.

  2. How do I redeem my PlusPoints Rewards?

    You can start redeeming your PlusPoints once you have accumulated a minimum of 500 PlusPoints on your Gold & Silver Credit Cards.

    As a Platinum Cardholder, you can start redeeming once you have accumulated a minimum of 1000 PlusPoints on your Platinum Credit Card.

    Simply call our Customer Service numbers and give us the details of the redemption item (gift/s or Gift Vouchers) you have chosen, and it will be delivered to your doorstep. Please quote the Item Code while placing your redemption request with our Customer Service.

  3. In how many days the Gift/s will be delivered to me?

    You will receive the Gift/s within 3 weeks of placing the request.

  4. What happens if I don't receive the Gift/s within 3 weeks of placing the request?

    If the Gift/s is not received within 3 weeks of placing the request, you need to intimate the Bank for non receipt of the Gift/s. Such intimation should be made within 15 days post the delivery period of 3 weeks is over.

    Any queries/complaints in this regard, after this time period shall not be entertained and the Gift/s or Gift Voucher/s shall be deemed as delivered.

    For eg: Redemption Request placed on 1st January 2009. Delivery should be effected before/by 21st January 2009. In case of non receipt of the Gift/s, the Bank should be intimated within 15 days from 21st January 2009 i.e. 5th February 2009.

  5. What if the Gift/s received is in damaged, defective or deficient condition?

    At the time of the courier being received, please do not accept the same if the packing has been tampered with.

    If after opening the Gift/s or Gift Voucher/s it is found to be damaged or defective or deficient, the Cardholder should intimate the Bank within 7 days of such receipt. However, incase of no such intimation by the Cardholder within this time period, the Gift/s Gift Voucher/s shall be considered as valid and accepted and no queries or complaints in this regard shall be entertained.

  6. What card transactions are not eligible to earn PlusPoints?

    Cash withdrawals, interest charges, card fees (joining, annual, and renewal), balance transfers, demand drafts, service charge transactions, disputed transactions, payments to other Axis Bank accounts, purchase of foreign exchange, EMI transactions, travellers cheques and other insurance charges. Also, no PlusPoints will be earned on all fuel transactions where customer is eligible for Fuel Surcharge waiver.

  7. When can I not redeem my PlusPoints?

    You cannot redeem your PlusPoints when your Axis Bank Credit Card is overdue/over limit or your account has been closed for credit/performance reasons or your card is temporarily blocked for usage due to fraud/loss or if you have accumulated less than 500 PlusPoints for your Gold/Silver Credit Cards & 1,000 PlusPoints for your Platinum Credit Cards respectively or you have requested for a gift after cancellation of your card.

  8. Can I redeem my PlusPoints and have the gift sent to someone else?

    No, the Gifts/s or Gift Voucher/s shall be delivered to your mailing address as per our records.

    In case you have changed your mailing address recently, please call Customer Service to request for a change in mailing address. Only after you receive a confirmation on change of mailing address should you place a request for redemption of PlusPoints. Under no circumstance would the gift be delivered to any address other than the mailing address.

  9. Is there any handling charge for the gifts?

    There are no handling / courier charges for gifts in the PlusPoints Rewards Program.

  10. How will I know about the PlusPoints that I have accumulated?

    Your Axis Bank Credit Card monthly billing statement mailed to you has a separate column, which shows your PlusPoints earned and redeemed. Your PlusPoints will not reflect immediately after a purchase, but will reflect when the transaction appears in the statement.

  11. Can I change or cancel redemption request once placed?

    No changes or cancellations will be allowed once redemption request is placed.

  12. Can I redeem my PlusPoints even after the card has been cancelled?

    Redemption of PlusPoints on cancelled cards is not allowed.

  13. Can I combine my PlusPoints for two or more different Axis Bank Credit Cards?

    The PlusPoints for two or more different Axis Bank Credit Cards cannot be combined.

  14. I am a Corporate Credit Card member, am I eligible for the PlusPoints Rewards?

    Yes, the Corporate Card members with individual liability will earn 1 PlusPoint for every Rs.100 spent and corporate liability will earn 1 PlusPoint for every Rs. 200/- spent on their Axis Bank Credit Card.

  15. Can an Add-on Cardholder redeem PlusPoints?

    No. An Add-on Cardholder cannot redeem PlusPoints. Only the Primary Cardholder can do so.

Air Miles

  1. Which Cards are eligible for conversion of PlusPoints for Air Miles?

    Platinum, Corporate Platinum, Gold Plus, Gold & Corporate Gold Credit Cards are eligible for conversion.

  2. What are the minimum PlusPoints required for redemption of Air Miles?

    For Platinum & Corporate Platinum Credit Cards a minimum of 1,000 PlusPoints are required for conversion and thereafter in multiples of 500 PlusPoints.

    For eg: Whenever a Cardholder places a request for redemption of PlusPoints against Air Miles, he has to redeem a minimum of 1,000 PlusPoints. Alternatively, he can place a request for 1,500 PlusPoints, 2000 PlusPoints, so on and so forth.

    For Gold & Corporate Gold Credit Cards (including the Plus variants) a minimum of 500 PlusPoints are required for conversion and thereafter in multiples of 500 PlusPoints.

    For eg: Whenever a Cardholder places a request for redemption of PlusPoints against Air Miles, he has to redeem a minimum of 500 PlusPoints. Alternatively, he can place a request for 1,000 PlusPoints, 1,500 PlusPoints, 2000 PlusPoints, so on and so forth.

  3. Which Air line partners are included in the conversion of PlusPoints to Air Miles?

    Axis Bank has tied up with Jet Airways & Air India (including Indian Airlines) for conversion of PlusPoints into Air Miles.

    Jet Airways Frequent Flier Program is called Jet Privilege.

    Air India's & Indian Airlines Frequent Flier Program is called Flying Returns.

    The Cardholder needs to be a member of the above mentioned Programs to convert their PlusPoints to the respective Air Miles.

  4. How do I redeem PlusPoints for Air Miles?

    PlusPoints can be converted into Air Miles by calling Axis Bank Customer Service only. The Cardholder has to mention his Jet Privilege Membership number or the Flying Returns Membership number along with the Name and the PlusPoints to be redeemed and the request for conversion shall be placed accordingly with the respective airline.

  5. How many Air Miles shall be credited to my airline membership when I redeem my PlusPoints?

    For every 1,000 PlusPoints redeemed as a Platinum / Corporate Platinum Cardholder, your account shall be credited with 1,000 Air Miles for the respective airline partner.

    For every 500 PlusPoints redeemed as a Gold / Corporate Gold Cardholder (including Gold Plus), your account shall be credited with 250 Air Miles for the respective airline partner.

  6. Can I redeem my PlusPoints for the Air Miles Membership of any other Cardholder?

    No. You cannot redeem PlusPoints for any other Cardholder or Airline Member except for the primary Cardholder or the Add-on Cardholder/s.

  7. Can an Add-on Cardholder redeem PlusPoints for Air Miles?

    No, an Add-on Cardholder cannot place a request to redeem PlusPoints. Only the Primary Cardholder can do so on behalf of Add-on Cardholder/s.

  8. In how many days will the Air Miles be credited to my Membership Account?

    For Jet Airways, it will take 7 working days from placing the conversion request to credit JP Miles to the Cardholders Jet Privilege Membership.

    For Air India, it will take 10 working days from placing the conversion request to credit Flying Return Mileage Points to the Cardholders’ Flying Returns Membership.

  9. How can I check if the Air Miles have been credited to my Jet Privilege or Flying Returns Membership Account?

    The Cardholder will receive intimation from the Bank confirming the credit of Air Miles to the respective Membership Account within 15 days of placing the redemption request.

    Alternatively, the Cardholder may also check for the credit of Air Miles with the respective airline.

  10. What happens if the Airline rejects the conversion request?

    In such cases, the Cardholder shall be intimated about the rejection within 15 days of placing the request and the reason for the rejection shall be stated. The PlusPoints which were redeemed shall be credited back to the Cardholder.
